Lets get out of the box and say you don't have to be a scout nor a sailor to be able to wear a neckerchief. The neckerchief in my opinion can possibly be one of the best accessories a man can wear. If done right, if not it can just be an absolute disaster.

In the Victorian Era the Neckerchief ( Cravat ) was quite the most popular accessory worn by man. But however in those times it was much more of a formal and up - tight fit of a cravat. However today's contemporary neckerchief, has gone under an extreme transformation.Turning its back on its up tight fitting formal roots to becoming much more easy and free fitting.        

The sole purpose for the neckerchief is to accessorize, they usually tend to be made from silk or cotton and come in a wide variety of colors and patterns. Not only is it a big attention grabber, but it brings great quality to an outfit and portray's a man's attention to detail. You really cant go wrong with a neckerchief, if done properly it will always be a win win decision.

Where are all my street wear lovers?

So on my trip to Ottawa I had a chance to run into fellow Ottawa native Chief  Bosompra. Cheif  is creator of  BadHabits Clothing, I have actually kept my eye on his work for quite sometime now. Even though I'm not a fan of summer weather, I really can not complain. Its officially been a year since I moved to this city. And I've really loved every moment of it.  This summer here in Montreal has been amazing I must say. I have met really wonderful people on this leg of my path. I have even shared on my blog for my readers such as Vanessa, Sula,  & Melissa. There are too many for me to even name.

 But of coarse school is about to kick in once again and all the stress will slowly begin to pile up once again. Due to assignments and projects. I really am not looking forward to at all. I have so much more I want to do and see this summer. Time flies by when you're having fun I guess, good thing is I can say is that I have no regrets.

The highly anticipated Jay-Z & Kanye collab album "Watch The Throne" was recently released to the ears of the public. Personally I really was looking forward to see what this duo would bring to the table since that I am a fan of both parties. And to be honest the album is good yes but I felt that it could have been a lot better just for the fact that its Jay and Kanye. And for many years they have always set the bar for other emcees, But in due time all the songs will grow on me. Here are a few of my faves off the album.

At one point I was never really one for bright bold colors in my looks. I just wasn't able to find a way to pull them off and still looked maintained and not 12 years old. But this summer i just decided to give this whole color blocking trend a go. And I must say, color will be much more frequent in my wardrobe.

What Is Color Blocking ?
Color blocking is the combination of two or more blocks of color within an outfit. This could be for a top, bottom, tie, socks and even a bag or shoes. It's pretty much all about creating an outfit by putting areas or blocks of solid color next to each other. This doesn't only have to be used by bright colors you can also include other tones : monotone, muted colors, contrasting and complimentary colors. Clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories can all feature color block designs or can make up different blocks of color to be put together for a color block outfit.

The most popular theory for combining colors is called the rule of two-thirds. How you achieve the rule of two-thirds starts by making an equilateral triangle (a triangle with 3 equal sides) on the color wheel… From there, you pick two of the three colors that the triangle touches. These colors will almost always harmonize together beautifully.
